Bama, my husband only took 50 mg of Seroquel and was zonked in about an hour. I've heard that the higher the dose the less sleepy it makes you, but that has not been my experience with him.

It sounds to me like you need to change how you take this med until you talk to your doc. I would suggest sitting on your bed and taking the medicine, then laying right down. Don't move around anymore than you have to.

I wouldn't quit cold turkey. Sorry I don't have any better answers. I will keep my fingers crossed that you hear back soon.
