Yikes, Kaika - I don't blame your grandpa!  If he had allowed the bear to take them out of his pocket, I suspect more than cookies would have been munched on that day. 
Hmmmmm.....you could honor your grandpa by taking a "milk and cookies" break while sitting on that rug. That old bear skin might even appreciate any crumbs that might fall his way. He could either pass them on to his momma - or sweep them under the rug!
