loveregardless...... ummm those were the "easy" years... The teens are the terrifying years....Alongside of our house was a small wooded area.. AJ, around 13, came running in the house and said the trees are on fire........ I go running and yup, they were. It was in the middle of summer and lack of rain everything was extremely dry. The trees were catching on fire like paper... Wooooooosh up in flames... Almost called the fire department, but was lucky the garden hose was close and I put out the fire....Turns out AJ and his buddies were trying to smoke cigarettes and they tossed one of the cigarettes on the ground and the tress went up in flames.......This was the beginning of the teen years......... Not sure how parents survive the teen years.. But we do,,,,,, and in the long run, it is alllllllll worth it.......
