I am with chalmette. I have tried everything, Abilify, Zyprexa Zydis, Invega. Geodon keeps me level headed way more than they do, and though I have less energy than I did with Abilify I am a hundred times more stable. I am even working out at a gym and I drive all the time, even after I take it. It hits me maybe two to three hours after taking it I will feel tired. Supposively it works best with food in your stomach, so I have always followed those guidelines. I guess I have a lot of energy and am anxious usally and the Risperdal that I take also causes Akithisia, so I am on sleeping medications during the day time to help with anxiety plus Geodon and I am an alert driver and take care of a lot of crap each day. I think I could even go to school again with Geodon in my system but I don't know how to pay for it or fit it into my schedule. All in all, Geodon is my drug of choice, and it also suppresses your appetite so you don't have to worry about gaining weight either. That is my experience with it.
