Lil story about my nephew (my sister's son, who's now 30). At that time he was maybe 13, or so.

I was over my sisters hanging out. She and I were in the living room, more than likely doing some kind of crafting. From outside, far in the distance, we both hear this sound which simulated a siren of some sort. We couldn't really make out what it was, really, although the sound seemed to be coming into our direction as it was becoming progressively louder.

The sound was something like a very faint..."Muuuuuaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh". Repeated over and over with increased emphasis for each repetition.

Sister and I decided to go see what this sound could possibly be (as it seemed it was right in the front yard). As we both proceeded toward out front...in comes her son, blazing into the house and straight past us and into the living room, before we could even reach the front door.
"Muuuuuaaaahhhhhh....MUUAAAHHHHHHHH.... WAHHHHHHHHH" He was screaming uncontrollably, running in circles in the living room. Sister and I trying our best to get him to stay still so that we could at least see if he'd been hurt somehow.
"WHAT'S WRONG???", We both kept shouting at him.
He screams his jumbled response....."Gotstungbyabeeeeeeeeeeee... GOTSTUNGBYABEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"
(as he is still running in circles without control).

Sister and I still couldn't make out what the hell he was saying, as he was screaming in utter terror and so out of control....his hands waving in air as though something attacking him.
Now, I know as parents/adults we are supposed to be supportive and understanding as possible....but his behavior was......hilarious. And despite our inital shock that he was possibly injured somehow (and upon discovering he wasn't...really, realizing there was no blood or visual physical injuries that we could see, anyway), the both of us just couldn't help but to break out in laughter, (poor nephew).
We kept asking him (between our laughter)...."what happened?".
"Calm down, Junior", my sister says to him..."tell us what happened".

Nephew finally calms enough to at least stand still long enough for us to get a better look-see, as he says more clearly this time, "GOT STUNG BY A BEE"
Sister and I look at eachother....and, bust out in sheer belly laugh...again.
I know that sounds mean, but....guess you hadta be there to appreciate the humor in it.
Nephew was stung by a bee in the side of his neck. Once he decided to remain still long enough, we were able to remove the stinger and place some cool, damp coffee grounds upon it, (which removes the pain and reduces swelling).

I think the reason it was so funny was because of his age and the fact that something so harmless as a bee sting would create such emotional drama (he's not allergic to stings).
