Just for perspective, I'm having the same sort of trouble: I don't know when I'm hungry, which is a big part of what I'm supposed to be working on these days. When I try to feel hunger in my belly, I can't tell what's going on in there. My T says to look for other ways to tell: sometimes it's a headache, sometimes it's irritibility, etc. It's not always in your belly that you experience hunger.
