Beth,

I'm glad that you found the check....nothing more frustrating that knowing where something is & it not being there. I always had that frustration all my life with loosing something.

Only after what happened at my Mothers at the end of the year, is has become a huge trigger for me......nothing like making something that was bad already ........worse. When the RN was in the house, my Mothers wedding ring disappeared......looked frantically for it........plop....there it was fell to the floor when the RN started looking for it.......I had the check book of the den floor when I was going over the checks.....left it for a few minutes.....when I got back.....it was missing......went searching all over the house....& when my husband came...he started the search too......when the RN started looking for it......plop.....down it fell where she was looking behind the bed I had slept in the night before.......

Now I really can't handle anything missing.....It drives me beyond panic even though there is no outside person even near my things

I do find it true....the harder I look for something the more it stays hid.

I did have a very funny incident actually. I had bought a new pair of perscription sunglasses.....only wore them a couple of weeks. I went into a pet store & remember putting them on my head because I didn't like talking to the person in the store without them seeing my eyes.(just my querky self). My dog got his head caught in the car window & was screaming....I ran out to take care of him....then back into the store. We finally left the store & my husband was driving that time. We stopped at the grocery store to get some Chinese food for dinner. I remember having my normal glasses on then, & went home. I took my food up to my room & didn't think any more about my sunglasses. A few days later, I wanted them & couldn't find them.....I looked all over where I had been which was the car, the garage, & a pathway up to my room. I even went back to the stores to see if anyone had turned in a pair of sunglasses. No luck.....for almost 2 months. One day, I went into the refrigerator to get out a vacinnation shot I give my dogs. I opened up the box & in the back corner of the box were my sunglasses. I never would have thought to look there....didn't even remember that the box of shots had been on the car seat next to me to lay them on......but oh what a relief feeling it was to finally find them after 2 months. It made me feel so dumb after finding them

but as they always say......things are always in the last place we look for them.......lol lol

Glad you were successful sooner than I was
Debbie
