I guess if you aren't going to get hold of your pdoc before leaving for florida & you don't want to continue feeling the way you have been feeling, I would drop my dose down to where you feel you may be able to tolerate it.

I am on seroquel because I am being haunted my nightmares of what happened last year. I am only on 200mg at night & then as needed throughout the day. At 200mg, I am able to sleep soundly throughout the night & very seldom do I even have a dream (but when I do, they are always bad). I only weigh 98 pounds, so 200mg is quite a bit for my size.

I have been passing out lately too but I know it is caused by being dehydrated which is a serious problem at my weight also. My life required me to be very active outside in the 105+ weather here in the Mojave desert. I have been hospitalized several times this summer for the dehydration & passing out.....as soon as I get re-hydrated, the passing out is much better until the dehydration hits again......I don't know if you have anything else in your life that may be causing you to pass out besides the seroquel?

If not, & since your pdoc isn't there for you to manage your meds, it may be a good thing for you to do until you talk with her. My pdoc lets me determine my own dose that works which is surprising after all the OD's in my past record & the number of times he had me hospitalized.....but he trusts me now....& I was the one that upped my dose to 200mg.....initially I was at 75mg 3 x day & the nightmares & depersonalization experiences just kept getting worse....now then are more under control, so I am pleased with the work seroquel is doing for me.

I hope you can get your dose under control,
Debbie
