I've been watching the news & keeping up with things... To me, the hurricane is just another symptom in Mother Earth's imbalance... the east coast is flooded, everything on the west side of the rockies is either burning or just parched from the drought... tsunamis, volcanoes, war, tension. Things are shifting. I've got a detachment from all the suffering - maybe it's true - too much violence on tv has desensitized me to everything.

I think it's maybe better for me because I don't know anyone in the areas that are affected - I don't have anyone personal to worry about, family or friends.
