Bobby, I'm glad you are safe. I know "where" you are................ I lost everything* in Hurricane Andrew... only I went through the storm "knowing" I was going to die, just didn't know how... and then slept the next 3 weeks in the front yard, and then finally got into/under the garage roof for another few weeks... sigh anyway..... life for you has changed. I know you can't "embrace" it, but try and accept it... you can use it as a way to start all over again.. I hope. If you try and cling to what you knew as "life' before the storm, it will be tougher.

It's ok to let others help, they need to feel like they can help too, you know? It's frustrating to not be able to help...

*everything.. but my spouse, dog, and my car (for when the roof pealed, the ceiling in the garage fell down in one piece and protected the car.. ) The spouse left... the car and I parted... but I still have the dog!
