I was talking to him last night and in one short string of comments I said something I shall leave private (off here) and then said right after it (without him having a chance to speak in between) something about someone cutting me off out of the blue (never speaking to me again, doing it all abruptly, etc.). It was just a couple short sentences (the priv. one then the cutting me off and never speaking to me again one) and he said he was thinking about doing that lately. It upset me and surprised me a little cause I thought he meant the last one, and I asked and he said, "No!" and then told me he meant the other thing I'd said. That one wasn't a bad thing!
It just goes to show I'm expecting the bad.
