Yes, thanks for your service.
It's great that we are a free country because of our brave military!

Now, I fully understand you, each step of the way.

The road is a long haul.
It takes an expert therapist (but they have some good ones with the military) and it's because of the research the military did that we
have any treatment at all!

The best thing, at this very moment, is to realize
it isn't you
it's the PTSD.
Don't take the garbage that PTSD makes you feel
or makes happen
or whatever
don't take that garbage as YOU.
It isn't you, it's the disorder!
You may blame the disorder all you want
it isn't a cop out, it's the truth.
You aren't passing the buck
you're placing the blame where it belongs.

When PTSD happens,
it's because the brain chemicals have changed.
It's a physical brain change
they can see on MRIs and PETs.

Ticks me off sometimes.

There is better ...
on down the road.
There is.
It's worth fighting for.

PTSD is an anxiety disorder.

ANXIETY is what takes your life away
so severely.

Even when it seems there's no reason to be
feeling or acting the way you do.

It's the PTSD.

Hang tough.
