wannaBgonzo:

You ask: "can you make yourself develop a dissociative conditions by using drugs like dextromethorphan."

After looking up dextromethorphan I found on Wikepedia:
DXM is also used recreationally. When exceeding label-specified maximum dosages, dextromethorphan acts as a dissociative hallucinogen.

Wikepedia did say this: It is one of the active ingredients in many over-the-counter cold and cough medicines, such as Robitussin, NyQuil, Dimetapp, Vicks, Coricidin, Delsym, and others, including generic labels.

Curious, many of us were given cough medicine as babies and children, to knock us out or address a cough and cold.

Perhaps the people on the Drug Forum would be able to tell you what their experience is with this drug as well, wannaBgonzo.

All the best to you on your investigation. Thought provoking question.

Love,
Hunny
