Hi there, I'd say you should definitely go for the therapy. I've had lots of therapy during my past 5 hospital visits, I had CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and ERP for my OCD (Exposure Response Prevention). Worked wonderfully...I now have the tools and techniques required to keep my OCD under control...most of the time, at least.

I will tell you though, it's a LOT of hard work. It's mentally exhausting, but it is worth it if you work hard and reap the rewards.

As for the cost, I'm not too sure. All of my therapy has been free thus far (I live in Canada). I know how much cost can be a factor for some people in whether or not they obtain therapy, I hope this doesn't cause any issues for you!
