we have a candy machine at work and I always have to count how many I get......
I count stairs on my way down to smoke (office on 3rd floor) say like, 6 - 7 times a day.
I count the people's foot steps that are walking around my cube.
I take prozac as well. I don't have to count everything most of the time. I've been working on focusing on one thing at a time, which should be my work, to help out quite a bit. Being more mindful of what you are doing at the moment and being in the present, not the future or the past, helps a lot too.
Now if only I could sit at work and not pull my hair out, well, that's a whole different issue.
