angie, why can't you fall asleep? Are you not tired? Are you worried about something and your anxious thoughts won't let you relax? For a few years I was very anxious and couldn't bear to go to bed and lie there unable to sleep. So I would stay up very late until I couldn't keep my eyes open, then go to bed. I often got only a few hours sleep but at least I didn't lie there awake. I hate that. The main solution for me was to work on solving the problems in my life so I wouldn't lie there awake thinking about them. Don't know if that is how it is for you at all. If it is just that you are not tired, I would recommend getting exercise, cutting out all caffeine from your diet, and not sleeping in in the morning.
