I think that the aerobics group is a great idea. Exercising with others can definitely provide motivation to go. Positive motivation ~ to see others and have fun. Negative motivation ~ to prove to others that you are healthy (keeping up with the Jones').

I'd recommend focusing on the positive motivation being your reason. That way, when your goal weight has been reached, you will be more likely to continue enjoying the regular exercise. When you enjoy exercising, you will be more open to different styles. Cycling, power-walking, pilates, and yoga are all great physical and emotional boosts. You can do each of them alone or with other people.

Congratulations for being stronger than you thought. That is good ! Btw, push ups aren't real easy for a lot of us. Even people who are underweight have a tough time with that! You can do it!
