Death is part of the cycle of life. Your grandfather had a profound effect on your life. If he were here to tell you, what do you think he would say? You have worked so hard to make a better life for yourself. Do you not think he would say you are a special person? One who is entitled to a better life? One who he is still rooting for at this very moment?
IMMORTALITY
Do not stand by my grave and weep.
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am a diamond glint on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle Autumn rain.
When you awake in the morning hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft star shine at night.
Do not stand by my grave and cry.
I am not there .. I did not die
(Prayer of the Makah Indians)
