Yes I agree with the OP.. Get a letter from your doctor stating you can't attend due to mental health issues and that will take care of your jury duty..The smoking bit.. I give you kudos for quitting.. I am a smoker for forty one years and find it impossible to quit..Try not to be to hard on yourself..
