a Pdoc will ask you a lot of questions and may ask you to fill out a questionaire. she will evaluate the answers and use her impression of you to give you a diagnosis. it is a normal procedure and one that i feel is necessary. i was mis-diagnosed for years, by internists and GPs and finally got my correct DX from a psychiatrist. good luck! xoxo pat
