I don't have a family doctor either. I have no insurance. I can't afford the doctor, the meds, etc. I had a family doctor, but his idea was always to wean me from meds. He was actually quite nasty to me several times. Although I don't necessarily disagree that taking care of my body is important, I lose that ability when I'm depressed. It's like Ron White says about being arrested for public intoxication...
"I had the right to remain silent, but I did not have the ability."
