Just my opinion, but I would say you are actually beyond square one -- you've learned what you don't like. That is valuable knowledge.

This, too, is valuable knowledge. Just guessing, but those with design talent outnumber those with coding talent. Now may be the perfect time to get some counseling and slide over to a track that exploits your passion.
