I thought that maybe it was from driving because my bf and I just drove to Arkansas and back and I thought maybe I was holding the steering wheel funny but we have been home for 2 days and the pain is still there. I haven't found anything that makes it feel better other than just holding it in a certain position. It doesn't matter if it's straight or bent, just if I keep it a certain way it stops. Like it only hurts when I move it. It's a little swollen but not too bad and there isn't a rash or anything else. I don't have a fever.
I do have Lyme disease but usually when that flares up its in my knees and elbows, not just one finger. My mom has RA and Lupus but I just had a CBC the other day when I went to the doc and they said everything looked normal. I don't know if thats what they do to test for lupus or not though. I just don't know when to take my concerns to a doc or if it's just something to walk off? It started on Wednesday.
