I'm so sorry you had to put your horse down. And some people just don't understand. They aren't just animals. They are family. You spend som much time with them and they become family. They live, breath, and bleed just as we do. And it hurts to have to be the one to make that decision. I had a great dane that was the best dog you could ever have and he got sick when he was a year and a half old. He was going through kidney failure and it lust broke me down having to see him that way. It was like it was one of children being so sick and then I had to make that decision to put him down. And then everyone was saying its just a dog. But evidently they never had an animal they loved so much have to go through this. Again I'm so sorry for your loss.
