Dear salukigirl - I think DMV might help, too. It's worth a try. Try calling the DMV in the city you are planning to move to, as well. Try calling the highway patrol or the local police [using a non-emergency #] If your problem is at least documented somewhere, I should think you would be less likely to get ticketed. Come to think of it, calling the local police and the Ill DMV seems like the best plan. But don't use the 911 #. That would just make them upset! Best of luck! billieJ
