Goodness, I am about to look for my fourth P-doc in 18 months. My first was keeping me waiting up to two hours in the waiting room and kept leaving in the middle of sessions so that it took a very long time to get almost nothing done. My second doc was very nice, but in the state I was in, I felt, too conservative and under his care I was hospitalized twice, the last being possibly unnecessary if he had listened to me. My third ended out most recent appointment by speaking to me through a toy shark which creeped me out to the point that I was considering going inpatient the next time I needed meds so that I could avoid her office.

There are probably reasons to keep or switch any doctor we go to, but I think we have to feel comfortable with our caretakers. So I too will be searching for a new doctor. Good luck to you.
