You aren't alone, I think everyone on here has those days. I know I have been a lot lately. Sometimes too much happens and life gets really overwhelming. Many times these feelings are triggered by just one negative thought that we chase down and the more we chase it, the more horrible we feel. It's a really bad habit that can be broken. What was the 1st thing that popped into your mind when you woke up? Was it negative? Think about it. Negative feelings are caused by either negative thoughts or events... but mostly thoughts. Are these thoughts rational? Much of the time they aren't. Much of the time we get caught up in "What if thinking" and then we stress ourselves out or make ourselves depressed, yet we don't realize we're doing it and it's too often for no good reason. Try asking yourself two questions when you feel like this: what am I thinking to make myself feel this way and is it rational?
