- Went without treatment for at least 10-15 years.
- Saw my family doc, got diagnosis of depression, took antidepressants alone for 7 years.
- Frustrated with lack of progress, I asked for and got a referral to a psychiatrist from my family doc.
- Psychiatrist diagnosed me as bipolar II in first session. Addition of appropriate meds made a big difference.
