I've never been on Lunesta, but I have been on sleep aids (benzos) for as long as I've been on Lamictal/lamotrigine, which started last June. I have no problem taking say 15mg of temazepam or even 30 for that matter, about the same time as I take my pm Lamictal, which has ranged from 50 to 150mg. I take the same amount in the morning as I do at night. As others have said, check with your p-doc, but Lamictal doesn't even make me drowsy. When I'm transitioning up or down in dosage by 50mg, I take the larger portion in the morning because it gives me energy. I'm weird, what can I say? Hope you can catch some z's soon.
