Yay southern Florida and everyone else who is taking in the animals and trying to find homes for them! I'm amazed that the rescue groups are still finding these animals alive. I heard "the general" (Honore) being interviewed on CNN today and he said the military has 700 carriers they are using to help with animal evacuations (I think he meant for people who are being evacuated by the military to use) but at least they are doing that much. He seems quite likable from what I've seen so far. I hope he's a good guy as far as animals are concerned.
