I know how that feels....it happens to me all the time. It's hard to be strong for two people especially when you barely have enough strength for yourself. It's just something that you have to get through. When everything is able to settle down for a bit, then I know fo rme, I try to lie down and relax and try to gather my strength for the next time. That might be all you can do to prepare and thats probably the only way you can not have it be such a shock when it comes.
