Please rethink that diet. After you have more sober time, then you can return to your weight loss plan, but right now, eat wholesome foods. Lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. Complex carbohydrates that break down slowly. I feel that your mood swings may be related to your diet.
“in case somebody comes by?” Does your mother know that you are trying to get and stay sober? Throw it out. Tell your mother that you would feel stronger if that rattlesnake called rum was not under the same roof as yourself. Tell her I said so. If she doesn’t drink, than it should be no big deal.
Lisa, why aren’t you trying AA? There are woman’s meetings where you will find a great amount of experience, strength and hope. Maybe even a sponsor. This is your life we are talking about here.
Keep posting sugar, and like I said, don’t drink no matter what.
