Nightmares are awful things and I can understand you, as I have lots of nightmares.
Some reasons for nightmares
- Medications
- Hormones
- Eating soon b4 bed. Eating highly flavoured foods can do it.
If you are eating cheese or wine b4 bed then I would try and stop that.
Nightmares are often a reflection of what is going on in our subconscious. Try talking to a therapist if need be.
