Well, can't explain why some people can be so ugly. But the same thing happened to me, and yes we became closer and our marriage, deeper. They too were "just friends" turned out they were more than "just friends". I only met her a couple of times at company functions and when she would have to call our house about "work" with my husband, they use to go on business trips, overseas, oh, and of course I use to hear "the group and I are going to Paris". . .
Well, it's in the past, and even though it was horrible then, in an odd way it brought you closer to your hubby, as well as this did for my hubby and me.
Too bad, sometimes good things come out of bad.
But for now let's just enjoy and be thankful for the future days we have.
