I learned a long time ago, that bad things happen to good people. It's not so simple to think God only lets bad things happen to bad people and good things to good people. I think we all have our struggles and often there's an important lesson to be learned - personal growth. I've prayed in my darkest moments too and felt my prayers weren't answered. We can't be impatient with God and our problems aren't always solved in the way we think they should.

Even though I don't follow strictly one particular religion, I do believe in God and I don't think worshiping in a building makes you more religious. I like the poem Footprints In The Sand and here's a link
