There's a school of thought that if you've been taking antidepressants for some time without success, there are underlying issues that can only be addressed through some kind of talking therapy - or that's what my doctor said, anyway.
I'm in a similar situation, I've been on and off various drugs for the past 10 years or so, and nothing seems to work (perhaps because I have a suspicion that mental health care in the form of drugs and therapy is basically witchcraft).
Perhaps you should ask your doctor to switch you to something new, or a combination of drugs? Sorry, that's not much help.
