My pdoc says it is my bipolar busy brain. Distractable not slow. I do feel sometimes I am getting Alzheimer's although she told me that it doesn't come and go. I do have better days than others.
Can I blame it on the Lamictal or for that matter the other meds I have been on? Maybe.
Being slower is something I had to get used to anyhow as the hypo mania is not a driving my life for now. Certainly the medication slows it all down.
There are times when I want something good to happen..and I don't see the good that is sure to be there.
Very discouraging but then I am still here...a certain victory in that.
