Does anyone feel guilty about receiving disability? I got my official letter today saying that my children and I will be receiving checks in the next couple of days. They are back-paying me the maximum amount.

I feel really guilty about it, eventhough I know I need it and haven't had a proper pay check for nearly three years.

How do others on disability deal with feelings of guilt about receiving money?

It feels very confusing because I wanted to be approved and I feel terrible when I read about someone being denied...

I don't know, it's just weird.
