Ugh. Hang in there BLN... this woman sounds dreadful. Just because she graduated med school doesn't mean she's a good doctor. The two don't necessarily go hand-in-hand. It's awful when your pdoc won't work with you. I obvously don't know what your funds are like, but if you have the money to pay out of pocket then it's probably worth it, you're right. Just tolerate her for a little longer and then you'll be able to go to this new person who's hopefully better. Take care!!!
