I'm working with a temporary sponsor, and he is having me call someone in the program EVERY DAY. Ugh, it IS scary. But I am just feeling afraid and doing it anyway...and you know what, it's getting easier. It does help to have a "reason" to call (like "hey, do you know anything about the meeting at X church on Thursday?" or "I missed the meeting because I was sick").

Pretty much, at this point in time, when something in AA feels super scary, THAT is what I am supposed to be doing. Going to a new meeting, sharing while I'm there, calling people...they're ALL scary and they're all the next right thing.
