I have a severe case of sleep paralysis. These are accompanied by hypopomic and hypnogognic hallucinations. I suffer from psychosis to begin with, and am finding this disorder to be extremely bothersome.

I have tried suggestions such as avoiding sleeping on my back and making sure I get enough sleep.

I am also curious to know...Most people who suffer with SP are also narcoleptic. I do get extreme sleepy spells that only last up to 30 minutes, but I rarely lose control of my muscles.

Could I be narcoleptic as well? And do any of you have suggestions to try and deter my SP?
