Congratulations on your 3 months free of SI. That alone is an accomplisment. But, I think you should see a therapist as quickly as you can to keep going forward. SI is addictive coping mechanism and it would be a shame should you regress. I think this is very hard to overcome by yourself. Obviously you need to make your own decision but since you asked our opinion I really think you should concider seeing someone before you utilize your SI coping mechanism. Please take care of yourself and good luck whatever your decision may be.
