I get the not wanting to tell your parents...I didn't want to tell mine either at that age and I don't think anyone or anything could have changed my mind at the time. So instead of asking to go to a psychiatrist, could you ask to go in for a physical with a regular doctor? At least you would have a place to start; I know a pdoc would be preferable, but a regular doctor is able to prescribe meds, and he/she could always consult with a pdoc if you explain that at this time you don't feel ready for that because of your parents. I'm pretty sure (but not positive) that your doctor can't release any kind of information to your parents unless you are a danger to yourself or others.
