I'm battling with sleep at the moment too. I get into bed because I can feel I'm tired and know I have work the next day. But then I battle to fall asleep. I then have very active dreams and recently nightmares too. Last night I woke up at 3.30 from a nightmare and couldn't fall back asleep. Decided to take my sleeping tab then, even though it was late/early.
And on Friday night I slept for 12 hours! I'm always tired - I just wish it would all go back to normal
