I'm sorry that you're suffering such intense back pain ~ the effect of jumping out of a moving vehicle.
As the wise people say, "The sooner you forgive yourself (for whatever you feel you did wrong), the sooner your suffering will ease." Psychological pain most certainly adds to physical misery. I'm not saying that your pain is all psychological. But, you can lessen your pain.
Are you working with a T? Have you had physical therapy, to re-build strength? What part of your back has been damaged, and to what extent? Were nerve fibers cut or entirely blocked by swelling?
I have had extensive swelling in L-5 and L-4. Doctors did consider surgery for me, because it took a lot of time for my pain level to get under control. I was against surgery on my back, and worked hard in physical therapy to regain my strength. I also became more accepting of the pain, because I was so against surgery for me.
That's my personal experience.
