Even if he were a manipulative liar, those people need help too. Being a manipulative liar IS in itself a mental health issue. Does this Case Manager not know your friend has a drinking problem? Either way, this Case Manager is not right for your friend. He doesn't deserve to have someone IN the mental health industry speak so negatively of him. I hope you can find him another Case Manager. Did you complain to the agency about her remark?, because that is NOT right! This woman at least deserves a complaint with her boss. These people are supposed to be helping people, not making them feel worse.
