I am a dad and I can tell you that I wouldnt allow my kids do disrespect their mom. My parenting style doesnt involve physical punishment because I was abused as a child, but I dont think its abnormal that your dad doesnt let you disrespect your mom.

I read your other post and really think you should seek the advice of a qualified therapist for some of the things you discussed. Do you have a school counselor that you trust that you could speak with? I wish you well.
