Brennan, don't worry too much about it. If he's sending you for tests it's to help you. You know you're not taking drugs but if you were and they missed it then they would end up mis-treating you. So I guess they have to try test these things. Maybe you would have had to have a urine test anyway? Are you new to the doc at all? When I joined my doctors I had to give a urine sample.
But either way he's just doing his job, I guess. And it will get done soon enough. Shame you have to wait longer for your referral though, I hope it comes quickly. How come that doctor can't do it and you have to see another?
