Hi everyone!

I'm having a good couple of days and I wanted to share that with you all, to give you some hope that things CAN feel better than they do right now.

I am so up and down and on and off right now, and some of you have seen me posting about that, because it confuses me a lot... but, Mike asked recently what hope is, and you all gave wonderful answers. I wanted to post this just to say that not every day is going to be a dark one. I suffer with horrible depression too but for the past few days I've felt pretty good. I went on a bike ride yesterday and today I'm going for a walk with my mum, I'm even EXCITED about it! I want to go out, and do things. I don't feel like sitting on the sofa/bed all day trying to comfort myself (because I don't need to). I'm actually fine.

And I wanted to tell you that because a lot of you today will be feeling horrible still, and sometimes it feels like that will never change. But a few days ago I felt the same. So if I was wrong, you could be too. Even if it only lasts a few days until I'm depressed again, I'm really thankful for this little ray of sunshine RIGHT NOW.

Thanks guys for your continued support over the past few weeks. You're helping me immensely.

PS: I have recently had a med increase (mirtazipine 45mg) and also started taking cod liver oil with omega 3 fish oils and vitamins (including vitamin D which people have told me helps).. the pill also contains evening primrose oil which helps keep a healthy hormonal balance....... I'm thinking my recent mood (this is my 2nd period of feeling good because this past weekend was good also) could be due to either of these things. Not sure yet but it shows meds can make a big difference. I actually think it is the evening primrose and vitamins etc.
