I've done that and it's like you know you're full but you just keep eating anyway. It's terrible because then you get that bloated and overstuffed feeling which makes you feel fat. Then you get depressed because you feel fat.
Is it before your period? (Are you a female?)
You could just be craving something in particular. Have you tried the different um tastebud things; sweet, sour, salty, etc...?
